Brad Stewart graduated from the University of North Texas in 1998. Shortly after, his life time goal was achieved when he got his name in the credits of an Academy Award nominated film, Jimmy Neutron Boy Genius. Afterwards, he moved to Chicago where he got work as an assistant editor at Del Hall Video. He had the privilege of being mentored by great editors and graphic artists such as Steve Hullfish, Rick Mahal, Benton Bullwinkel, Troy Okoniewski and Scott Norris. Brad became extremely familiar with Avid Unity and after a short while became the company's Unity expert. Over his five years at Del Hall Video he rose through the ranks, becoming an editor and eventually Senior Editor. In 2005, Brad joined Communications4, a small start up company that specialized in informational life style videos for the web. He was the agencies sole editor. Soon after, Communications4 changed their name to AnswersMedia. Brad was a key player in preparing the smaller company to move into a much larger facility which contained 7 edit suites, the largest cyber set stage in Chicago, and a full production and post production staff. Once again, Brad became the companies go to person for Avid Unity. In 2007, AnswersMedia produced more content than any other production facility in Chicago. In late 2007, Brad decided to venture out on his own and has been freelancing ever since. He has worked on television shows for the Oprah Winfrey Network, The Discovery Channel, The History Channel, A&E, and The Weather Channel. Brad has also done work for McDonald's Corporation. All of this combined experience makes Brad a versatile editor that can hit the ground running on any project.
In his free time, if his two children allow any, Brad enjoys making short films. Please contact him for more information about his film making endeavors.
